i have a 2001 gmc sonoma and it's about time to change the oil and oil filter but i usually have it done for me and would like to do it myself now. what kind of specific oil would i need to use and what kind of oil filter is needed for it?What kind of oil and oil filter do i need?
Stores that sell filters will have a cross reference to find your specific part number. 5W30HD is good for most applications unless you have some unusual environment or usage.
