Could you be as specific as possible. I have crawled under it and looked all around the oil pan but couldn't see anything like it.Where is the oil filter located on a 2007 Saturn Sky Red Line?
If you open the hood, and are facing the engine compartment. Look down just in front of the intake manifold.
There is a black cap that has a raised hex on it. The filter is under the cap. It takes a cartridge style filter. There is a special wrench for it as well. If you move the coolant line/fill point you will have better access to the cap to remove. One word of advice, Change the oil when the car is not HOT, you will get burned changing the filter if its hot.
