How often do you have to replace the oil filter?

How often do you have to replace the oil filter? How much does it normally cost? Where is it located? How often do you have to replace the oil filter?
Jacqueline must work for Jiffy lube. Ignore what she has said as the mileage interval and time between changes she posted is way off. The normal recommendation is posted in your owners manual and would be about 6,000 miles depending on driving conditions. I have never had good results at the ';cheap'; oil change places. I also find that dealerships are competitive on prices and offer top grade filters and oils as recommended by the manufacturer. Oil filter location varies with engine. Cost for the service usually runs about $30 (sometimes less if a special is offered)How often do you have to replace the oil filter?
Usually, you need to replace the oild filter every time you do the oil change. As for the price and the location of the oil filter, what kind of car are you driving? Some are at the underneath of the car. Some are at the front of the car, you can see if when you pop the hood. Some are at a secluded location, MB for example. Some are located at the rear of the car, Posche 911, Ferrari etc. What do you have?
Where? You don't specify the vehicle, but it's

normally low on the engine block.

How often? Do it at each oil change.

- Cheap oil contamination insurance.
Every 3,000 miles when you change the oil. The oil filter is screwed into your engine. Your owner's manual should show you exactly where. They are pretty cheap, depending on what brand you get: $5 - $15.
Everytime you change your oil at 3000 miles or dealer recommend oil change maintenance
every time you have the oil changed
White nailed it. Every 3,000 miles, when you change your oil.
