Where do I find the oil filter on an 06 cobalt?

I'm changing the oil and I'm not finding where the oil filter is.


Any clues? I am going to find the manual at a library...but I'm trying this route first to save some time. Thank you.Where do I find the oil filter on an 06 cobalt?
The Chevy cobalt uses an oil cartridge, instead of the traditional oil cannister style filter.

don't you have the owners manual that came with the vehicle?
try looking right behind the front bumper. gm likes to put it there above a little plastic flap door. good luck! its getting impossibe to do your own work on them anymore.
They might have it at walmart. Usually walmart would have a book or digital computer so you can look up which oil filter would fit your car.
