Where is the Oil Filter located on my Bike?

I own a 1978 Honda Hawk (Hondamatic) I havent really looked for it but was wondering if anyone knew the exact location of the oil filter on this bike..?Where is the Oil Filter located on my Bike?
They are usually on the front of the engine (behind the front wheel).





If you lay down next to the bike, you should be able to see it.Where is the Oil Filter located on my Bike?
check under the engine case or on the front you should see a cover a little larger than the filter will be this was before honda started with spin on filters.any other questions email trobaught@yahoo.com
Underneath the engine.


There is a square cover with a large bolt in the center of it (17mm wrench).

Go to - your bike - Lower Crankcase - # 13


Sometimes the parts are installed incorrectly by people that think they know what they are doing.


Look at the parts diagram and install the parts in that order.


Don't forget the washer - it gets stuck to the filter and discarded by accident.
